GUNS BLAZING EXCERPT It wasn’t more than a half hour later when Lloyd reappeared in the great room where I was sprawled out on his sofa. I had stuffed a couple of his couch pillows underneath my head so that I could get a decent view of the game I was watching. Christ, he hadn’t arranged this room to be ergonomically conducive to watching the big screen at all. “Excuse me, Luke,” he said, and I couldn’t miss the slight twitch he had going in one cheek. He was pissed about something. “Yeah, what’s up?” “Would you mind following me? I want to show you something.” Well, well, well. If Ledbetter thought I was going to swallow my fucking pride just because he was in the mood to sample Club Luke, he had a lot to learn about me. I capitulated and launched myself from his sofa, letting the pillows fall to the floor. I followed him like a whipped puppy down the hall, wondering what exactly he had planned to make it all up to me. My dick twitched and my mind wandered over the possibilities. He stopped in the hallway, and held out his arm to usher me into the guest bathroom ahead of him. What kind of kink did Ledbetter have in mind? Once beside me he gestured toward the toilet. “What’s wrong with this picture, Luke?” “Say again?” I asked, my brow furrowed. “Not following, Lloyd.” “You left the toilet seat up, Luke. It’s common courtesy to put both the seat and the lid down once finished using the facilities. I do appreciate the fact that you at least bothered to flush.” “Oh for Chrissake,” I howled. “Are you fucking serious here? It’s not like you have a chick living here with you.” The expression on his face told me that he most certainly was serious. I shook my head and started to lower the lid, when he stopped me. “Just a minute. There’s something else.” I watched as he pulled some toilet paper off the roll next to the toilet. “It is also common courtesy that when one dribbles urine onto the rim of the toilet, to wipe it clean before flushing and lowering the seat and the lid like this.” He wiped the rim clean of what must have been one or two drops, tossed the toilet paper into the bowl, and then flushed it. “Now we may lower the seat and then the lid respectively.” His proper toilet etiquette demo was now complete I presumed. My arms were crossed, and my right hand was tucked under my chin as I fought the urge to laugh -- and lost. “Well, aren’t you the persnickety hot house flower,” I roared, laughing so hard I could feel my shoulders shaking. He threw his arms up for effect. “It’s so little to ask of you, really. But I would appreciate your adherence while a guest in my home. Is that too much for you to remember?” “No, no…not at all,” I replied, still chuckling. “I promise I will exercise better bathroom decorum, Ledbetter. It’s your crib. I shall obey,” I finished, giving him a slight bow. “Now, am I excused to go back and finish watching the game? Or are there any further lessons in decorum you wish to convey to me as your house guest?” I saw a flash of defiance in Lloyd’s eyes. Maybe he wasn’t the submissive I had pegged him as being. Maybe it was Lloyd’s turn for a lesson.
