This book took me a lot longer than others to get through, I have to admit. I was absorbing the words a little at a time and they were sometimes a bit more than I could handle. I had to leave and come back to this book more than I have with some others, but that is nothing to say on this book or the author. The book was intriguing for the content that it was. It just was not totally what I was expecting, and it left me wanting just a little bit more, I think, and so I found myself scratching my head a few times here and there. I definitely feel as though this book deserves to be read by those who like a book which takes a bit to get into, but that pays off in the end. Those are definitely the ones worth staying up all night for!!!

The Meltdown of Mad Dog by K.E Osborn is a good read but it is dark and twisted.  In this book we start where the last book left off with the group killing Stealth but now we know exactly what is going through Mad Dog’s head as it is going on.  I learned a lot about Mad Dog in this book from his feelings now to how he was in the past and the demons that haunt him.  It shows how twisted someone’s mind can get when they feel they have nothing on their side anymore and not sure of the way out.  This series just keeps dragging you in and you just want to know what could possibly happen next with this group.

Sweet Light by Alexia Halliwell was a good book for it being a debut book from this author.  I will be interested to see where she goes with her next book.  As for this book she developed the main heroine Lira well you feel for her and want to see her succeed.  As for Kane what can you say but I wish I had a Kane in my life even with his confusing attitude of I want you I don’t want you.  I liked the fact that Lira grew so much in this book she went from being someone who felt they had no use and no one could ever like her to someone who finally confronted her past and found great confidences.

This was a unique paranormal story for me to read. I have read lots of them and this one was a different take on the traditional paranormal romance story. I do not like to give away a lot in my reviews, but I can definitely say that if you want a story that stands the test of time and shows that love does prevail, then grab this one up and do not let go until the last word is read!!!

Review:

Forever Rockers by Terri Anne Browning tore my heart out.  As everyone knows this is the last book of this great rockers series and the author pulls out all the stops in this one.  I don’t want to give too much away and spoil this for the people who are waiting to read.  So this book touches all our favorite characters and lets us know what is going on in their lives.  The book mostly revolves around the Shane and his stalker but we also get insight to why they want Emmie to suffer as well.  This book has some twist and turns that I wasn’t expecting.  There are parts in this book that my heart just shatters with everything that poor Harper is going through.  I think what got me the most was seeing poor Emmie go through so much and trying to be the strong person that everyone wants her to be but realizing she is just a woman and mother and can reach the point that breaks her.  I know we will still get to see parts of our favorite rocker families as Lucy’s books continue but I am sad to see the series end it has been great reading these books from the beginning and seeing how Emmie and her guys went from only loving and caring for each other to this great big family they have made.  Terri Anne Browning thank you for sharing your Rockers with us. 

Review Teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson

Teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson I a scorching HOT read.  Let me just say I started this book and I couldn’t put it down until it was finished.  First you have Trish a beautiful 18-year-old senior who seems like she has it all and knows where she is heading that is until she runs into Levi.   What happens when sexy stranger becomes your fill in teacher.  Watch the chemistry and sparks fly in this book you won’t believe some of the twist that these authors but the characters through.  Can’t wait for the next book. 

Review His Only Salvation by Skye Turner

His Only Salvation by Skye Turner was such a different book compared to how she usually writes but let me just say that she blew this story and my heart out of the water.  For those who do not read the blurb this book is dark compared to her the other books that she has written. This book had me going through so many feelings these characters are so well developed that you really feel like you know them and can feel exactly what they are feeling.  You have Hope who just like her name states tries to good and brings hope to those around her, her only fault is that she loves two men who are as different as can be and has loved them both since she met them.  Skye really lets you feel the anguish and confusing that Hope goes through when it comes to her feelings for Luke and Gabrial.  I don’t want to give away too much with this book but let me just say it takes some unexpected turns and it literally ripped my heart out at points.
