"What the hell happened here? It looks like the wrapping fairies lost their way."
He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the couch where it, too, was covered with tissue paper, tags, and other supplies. "I see you need my help with this simple task."
"Simple? You call this simple? Look at all of these gifts. I think they've multiplied three-fold since we went shopping."
He continued laughing. "Well, I have to be honest. I did add a few. But why are so many packages in different stages of being wrapped?"
She glanced at him. He knew she'd have a good reason at least what she thought was a good reason.
"Well," she said as she looked at him and then about the room at the packages. "Ah, to tell you the truth, I don*t know why. I thought I'd finished wrapping that one," she said as she pointed to the package half-wrapped, "but then I found the perfect paper for another gift." She looked back at him and watched his face. He was giggling and was ready to break into another fit of hysterics.
"I don't know. I guess I lost my focus," she said as she also started laughing.

Life’s Second Chances by Anne Stone was given to me as an
ARC for an honest review. This is the
first book that I have read by this author and I gave the book 4 stars because
it was a good book there were just parts of it that seemed to be missing or that
could have been more detailed. I loved
the storyline behind the whole story of just never giving up hope and just
because at the time the situation that you are going through is the worst thing
possible that there is a chance for that second time of happiness. You have Alejandro who had came home to be
around family again after suffering a huge tragedy and he finally meets someone
who he has known for years. I love the
protective nature that he has of Angelina right of the bat. Angelina you just can’t help but love her she
is completely fierce for her family but she rather suffer alone then have them
sorry or suffer with her. What I didn’t
like about this book is that the time frame was a little hard to keep up with
it felt to me that sometimes there were gaps in the time that should have been
filled in. While you understand
Alejandro and Angelina’s relationship and where it is going I feel like there
should have been more details about their relationship and how it progressed
instead I felt like I was drawing in my own conclusions at time. All in all though it is a good book that will
but your emotions to the test I know it has changed how I think about second
chances.
